A Boy and His Sailboat

The short movie produced in collaboration with Phipps Philms, Twice Owned, was nominated for Best Short as a Finalist in the Christian Worldview Film Festival this March.  Johnathan Schutz (visual effects artist) and Benjamin Owen (producer) were present for the movie screenings and awards event. Audiences commented on its “good story arc” and liked the “watercolor effects”.  In the following month, Twice Owned was awarded an Honorable Mention by The Attic Film Festival, also held in Texas. “We wanted to produce something for low-cost ministry use,” Owen explained, “and we hope it will provide a good starting point for presenting the Gospel.” The short film and bonus videos are free to view online, including the study guide.
